WHO WE ARE


 

May Building Consultancy is an experienced commercial Building Consultancy, specialising in dilapidations claims, and the project management / contract administration of refurbishment projects.

May Building Consultancy was established in the Spring of 2022 by Founder and Director, Daniel May. Daniel has over ten years professional experience in the property and construction industry, predominantly working for medium to large consultancies. He has broad commercial experience working with both private and institutional clients, including The Crown Estate, Columbia Threadneedle and Legal & General Investment Management.

The business was borne out of a desire to deliver our core services more effectively than we had begun to see across the industry. Within this desire also sat a firm belief that our combination of technical experience and commercial insight puts us in an envious position to add real value to each and every instruction.

Independent, and regulated by the RICS, you can rest assured we always have your best interests at heart.

WHAT WE DO


 

We work across all commercial sectors, particularly offices, industrial and retail. Our clients include property funds, private investors, property developers, landlords and tenants.

Our core business is concentrated on:

• Acting as Project Manager and Contract Administrator / Employers Agent on a wide range of refurbishment schemes to commercial properties.

• Advising our clients, be it landlords or tenants, through the dilapidations process, with the ultimate goal of achieving the best settlement possible.

We also undertake a range of professional services work including technical due diligence surveys, schedules of condition and reinstatement cost assessments.
